UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon spoke with Gen. Than Shwe (r.) of Burma (Myanmar) on Friday in Naypyidaw. On Mr. Ban’s agenda were upcoming elections and a visit with Aung San Suu Kyi. It wasn’t clear if he would be allowed to meet the detained opposition leader before leaving Saturday.
